It's a special episode of the Nostalgia Theater Podcast! After we had such a good time with our special 50th anniversary Star Trek episode last summer, I'm joined once more by frequent friend-of-the-show Glenn Greenberg, former Marvel Comics editor, and writer of many Hulk and Star Trek comics, for what we hope will be the first in a series of commentary tracks talking through the original Trek feature films. First up, 1979's Star Trek: The Motion Picture. This is a polarizing pic even nearly forty years after its release, but it's nonetheless a nostalgic fave for both Glenn and myself, and we had a lot of fun going through and discussing not only our own reactions to the first big screen Star Trek outing, but also the many behind-the-scenes anecdotes that have been detailed in the years since. If you're any kind of a Trek fan, I think you'll enjoy listening to this one just as much as we did recording it. And stay tuned for our next commentary track: The Wrath of Khan! Click below to listen, or subscribe at iTunes, Stitcher Radio, TuneIn Radio, or Google Play (and remember to leave a review!). As always, send all questions or comments our way via MovieFilmPodcast@gmail.com, and don't forget to hit "like" on our Facebook page.
